Dear Loyal Viewers,Thank you to everyone, for making Season One of NJFILMCORE THE SHOW, so much fun.  We are now taking a small break to focus our full concentration into Season Two. Currently, we are working on exciting new projects, with some of the most creative people we have ever met.  We are teaming up with a company that actually understands what we are trying to accomplish. Rest assured, that we will be working very hard these next few months, and we can’t wait to show you what’s up our sleeves! More details coming soon.-Erik and everyone at NJFC

Long time no talk / NJFILMCORE.COM update
1. The future, in regards to my creations/ideas, looks like it is going to be a ton of fun.  I am currently working with some of the most creative people I have ever met on some of the most exciting projects.  For once, I think I met a company that actually understands what I am trying to do.  More details coming soon.
2. I am going to be in Los Angeles from August 14-21 to meet up with some people/friends.  Should be a good time of exchanging ideas and causing trouble in So-Cal.  If you want to get together, hit me up at njfilmcore@gmail.com
3. I am editing NJFILMCORE THE SHOW - EPISODE 009 right now as I type this.  Look for it to drop nasty on the internet real soon.  We got a great interview with I AM THE AVALANCHE (MySpace) as well as other insanities.  Get ampd.

WHEN IS NJFILMCORE THE SHOW EPISODE 008 COMING OUT?!
It just dropped on the net a few minutes ago.  Give it a watch.  I like it.  I like it a lot.  I interviewed Kris Roe from The Ataris.  That band is so good, I find that people seem to forget how good they are.  It isn’t a bad thing to forget how good a band is, I mean, we are living in a time where there are literally 100 million + bands out there.  With this episode, it is my personal mission to remind people that The Ataris are awesome; always have been, always will be.
We also got the chance to hang with Dustin Diamond, he is a solid dude.  Nothing but love/respect for him and all that he does.
Also in this episode you will see a monster skit with one of my good friends  named Steve Nelson guest starring in it.  Steve is from the site indymogul.com - great site, great info.  Check out indymogul if you are into “independent” filmmaking.
We are giving away some sickanimation CDs too in this episode.  As always, check out www.sickanimation.com because Marc M. knows what he is doing.
Ok, I am out.  It took a million hours to make episode 8, now I am going to go outside and get some exersice or something.  Sitting in a computer chair and editing for 10000000000000000 hours sucks.  Enjoy the show and tell your friends.  Love you!

EPISODE 008

Coming soon.
April 20, 2008

April 2002 vs April 2008

I remember it like it was yesterday, I was 17 years old and I saw Brand New play at Stockton College (NJ) in April 2002.  It was in a super small cafeteria on campus.  There were about 15 kids there and no one knew who Brand New was but me.  I sang every word.  It was unreal.

Now let’s talk about tonight.  I am now 24 years old and I saw Brand New play again at Stockton College.  It is now April 2008.  Instead of playing in the cafeteria like they did in 2002, they played in the gym.  Instead of playing to 15 kids, they played to 2,000.  Everyone knew who they were and everyone sang the words.  It was unreal.

It’s really interesting to see what can happen in 6 years.

Are you happy with what you have accomplished in the last 6 years?  If the answer is yes, awesome, keep it up!  If the answer is no, reevaluate and make a change.  Start right now.  Good things will happen.

P.S.  NJFILMCORE THE SHOW EPISODE 008 COMING SOON.

As I was cleaning my room, I found the first EVER sketch I did of CREEPY SUN CARTOON.  It is now hanging up on my wall.  It made me smile to find this.  I drew this in September 2007 and I am happy to see this cartoon in my show now.  I just love creation, the whole process.  It starts off with the smallest idea, turns to a sketch, turns to this, turns to that, snowballs, and somewhere along the line we find a finished product?  It is so exciting.  Dave Seger is the voice of the creepy sun character, he is one of my fav people ever.  Dave, if you are reading this, thank you.  Just… thank you in general.  Thank you for being you.
